Professional English

English Path currently offers two Professional English courses. English for Business and English for Finance; which caters exclusively for finance, accountancy or banking professionals.

Career progression in the Business and Finance industries involves having a high level of competency in English. Especially in terms of using and understanding specific vocabulary and functional language required for everyday tasks in the workplace such as meetings, negotiating, writing emails and writing up reports.

Within the City of London, Canary Wharf is at the heart of the financial capital of the world. It is home to a diverse range of start-ups and corporates; entrepreneurial and financial institutions; public and private companies as well as retail and services. Canary Wharf is also a thriving district for technology, finance and media. Did you know that there are currently 105,000 people employed at Canary Wharf with an average salary of £100,000?

Taking a Professional English course at English Path, you will be surrounded by like-minded professionals from a wide array of backgrounds. Not only will we help you improve your English, but you will also have the opportunity to network and attend seminars from industry experts and external British senior managers and CEOs.

The Canary Wharf campus is a modern, state-of-the-art building, including an array of facilities to help keep you focused and motivated, whether you need that all important morning coffee from our onsite café or just a quiet place to attend a last-minute business meeting.

On your first day, you will have a one-to-one meeting with one of our Academic Managers to set out and define your goals. After which, you will join your first class with an experienced, well qualified and knowledgeable teacher.

In addition to your Professional English course, in the evenings we organise entertainment for you and your classmates at a number of exciting venues in and around the City of London.
