Approach:

Our German evening courses follow a communicative, practical method focused on real-life situations in Berlin. You’ll learn through speaking tasks, role-plays, listening activities, and interactive exercises that help you build confidence and fluency step by step.

Materials:

All learners receive structured course materials aligned with CEFR levels, including text books, digital resources, and worksheets to reinforce learning between classes.

Evaluation:

Progress is monitored through weekly tasks, short quizzes, and teacher feedback. At the end of the course, you’ll complete an assessment to confirm your level and readiness for the next stage.

Opportunities to Progress:

A 8-week course (2-days per week) will ensure completion of half of an CEFR Level (e.g. A2.1) you can continue with the next evening course at EP Berlin or transition into full-time programs such as German for Academic Purposes or Studienkolleg Preparation

1. Who is this course for?

Our evening German classes are ideal for adults living or working in Berlin who want a flexible learning schedule.

The program runs for 8 weeks with classes twice per week, totalling 32 hours.

We currently offer A2 evening courses, with more levels coming soon.

Classes take place every Tuesday and Thursday from 18:00 to 20:00.

Simply complete our online form, take a placement check (if required), and secure your place with payment.

Yes. All EP Berlin teachers are experienced and certified to teach German as a foreign language.

Yes. You will receive an EP Berlin certificate upon completing the course and final assessment.

Yes. Our campus is accessible via elevators and wide-entry classrooms.

All core learning materials and digital resources are provided.

Absolutely. Students can move to the next CEFR level after completing the course and meeting progression criteria.
