Alan Rodrigo Campero

Student Services Assistant and Facilities Officer

I’m Alan, originally from Mexico, and I’ve always carried with me a deep love for culture, community, and the ocean. Traveling has shaped who I am—I’ve explored most of my home country and lived in Malta, Slovenia, Canada, and now Ireland. These experiences have given me a genuine appreciation for people from all backgrounds and taught me the importance of creating spaces where everyone feels welcome.
At English Path, I support students from the moment they arrive, helping them settle into life in Ireland and ensuring the school runs smoothly day-to-day. Whether I’m assisting with student services or maintaining the building as our in-house facilities officer, my goal is to offer an environment that feels warm, supportive, and easy to navigate. I speak Spanish, English, and Slovenian, which helps me connect with our diverse student community on a more personal level. I’m also passionate about design and craftsmanship. I studied vernacular architecture and construction, which strengthened my appreciation for building, repairing, and understanding how physical spaces shape our experiences. Outside the school, you’ll usually find me on the water kitesurfing or paddleboarding, playing guitar by a campfire, or exploring the Irish countryside.
I believe that a smile and a bit of kindness can completely change someone’s day. That simple philosophy guides my work and the way I welcome every student who becomes part of our community.
