Mike began working with international students in 2008 whilst at University. After graduating he taught English in South Korea for two and half years before returning to the UK. Since then he has worked across several departments in different UK schools, contributing to the successful overall running of both adult and junior English courses. At English Path, Mike is responsible for the overall success of the English school focusing especially on student services, operations, sales and administration.

Mary Ellen Wright is the Global Head of Academics of English Path. Mary-Ellen has been working in the ELT industry since doing her CELTA in 2009, teaching English and managing Academic departments in Sicily, Spain and Australia. She has BA in Modern Languages from the University of Swansea and also holds a DELTA awarded by Cambridge Assessment. She speaks both Italian and Spanish, and she is fascinated by language in general and how it is learned. She is committed to helping students on their English language journeys as well as the continued development of the school, the teachers and herself.

I am passionate about languages. Born and raised between two cultures and countries I grew up with French & German at home. Love taught me Spanish. I then learned English spending my summers in Northern California for a decade. Graduated from University with a degree in Translation and Interpretation and a Master degree in European Law. A decade ago, I started my career in the international education industry and still very happy to be able to do what I love most: give people the opportunity to learn a language, explore the world and hopefully make it a better place! At English Path I am looking after the business development of the Latin American region.

Romina Borderas is Head of Young Learners at English Path. Romina is an advocate for Education and has a bachelor’s degree in Education and CELTA certificate. She has worked within the International Language Learning field for the past 12 years. Working directly with students, directing summer campuses for young learners, as well as all year-round courses for adult students. She loves traveling and is passionate about learning about other cultures. She has lived in Spain, The Netherlands, Sweden, but now calls UK her home.’

Allen’s career began in the year 2000 in the hospitality industry from where he was selected to form part of a team, to establish an International English Language School, a new and diverse venture, within the organisation. Initially, a Customer Service Representative for the school he became active in administration and marketing, eventually securing the position of Assistant Manager. After graduating from The University of Malta he was promoted to General Manager and the school continued to evolve under his leadership. Allen is now The Centre Manager/Operations Manager for English Path Malta.

Siân has been working in international education for over 20 years, starting her career teaching English in Portugal before returning to the UK. Since then, she has worked in several London based language schools in a variety of different roles including Social Programme organiser and most recently Principal. She speaks Portuguese and a smattering of Spanish and French. Siân believes that the study abroad experience is a life changing one and feels privileged to be able to bring so many diverse cultures together through the programmes that we offer at English Path.

Jose (Joey) began working with international students in 2002 whilst working at university. After living, working and graduating in the USA for 7 years, he moved to the UK to continue his career in Education Management. Since then, he has worked in several departments and different schools offering Language and Test Prep programmes, Teacher Training, University Pathways and Young Learners, both online and face to face. At English Path, Joey is responsible for developing and nurturing programmes in Higher Education and Languages.

Greg joined English Path in 2021, following over 20 years in a variety of different roles in the EFL industry in Poland and the UK. He holds a master’s degree in English Philology and QTS. Greg is fully committed to his development in the areas of English language teaching and learning. Currently, he is developing a Partnership Network for Corporate English Training. He works on the best solutions for employees to achieve measurable progress in both the English language and soft skills. Greg likes to surround himself with people, learn from their experiences and be inspired by their actions. He believes that diligence combined with communication skills is the key to positive relationships and professional success.

Gareth Smith is the Centre Manager for English Path Dubai. He has over 11 years of experience as an English language teacher and academic manager. Having travelled and worked in East Asia, South America and the Middle East, he has a lot of experience working with different cultures and supporting students from around the world. For the past 7 years, he has been living and working in Dubai giving him an in-depth understanding of the local culture and knowledge of some of the best experiences that are on offer.
In his free time, he enjoys competing in local triathlons, visiting many of Dubai's beautiful beaches and restaurants as well as adventuring around the UAE.

Holly Morgan is the Academic Manager at English Path and has been working and teaching in the ELT industry since 2014. She has worked in Spain, Japan and the UK and holds a BSc in English Language and a DELTA certificate from Cambridge Assessment. She has taught a variety of levels and ages but is particularly interested in Business English and Teacher Development. She wants to ensure that all students at English Path have a great experience and leave feeling more confident in their English skills.

Tom Murphy is an Academic Coordinator at English Path. He has been working in the ELT industry since 2012, with his first job as an English Language Teacher in Santiago, Chile. Over the years he has continued to develop significant experience as a teacher and prides himself on delivering well-planned, engaging, and informative lessons to his students. As well as teaching a range of classes and levels at English Path, Tom also assists with the academic management of the school and is always happy to chat with students about their progress and life in general!

Ekaterina Naumova is the Director of Studies at English Path Malta and has been working as a teacher of English as a second language since 1999. She holds a Master’s Degree in Teaching (English and German), CELTA-B and a YLE teaching certificate. She has taught Aviation English, Business English, prepared students for IELTS and Cambridge exams (Flyers, Movers, Key 1) and General English; she has worked with all levels and ages in her career. Now, as a DOS at English Path Malta, my goal is to create a healthy working atmosphere for teachers and to provide the best quality of teaching for our students.

Ekaterina Stoliarova is the Academic Coordinator at English Path Birmingham and has been working and teaching in the ELT industry since 2010. She has MA in Applied Linguistics, MA in Management, CELTA, CAM (Cambridge Advanced Methodology), DELTA module 1 and 2 (currently working on module 3) Diploma from Cambridge Assessment. She has taught a variety of levels and ages but is particularly interested in EAP (English for Academic Purposes) and Teacher Development. Her priority is to make sure that students and teachers are motivated and inspired by the English language.

He spent many years in GCC countries especially Saudi Arabia. Shadi has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and is a sales professional at heart. He is from Jordan and looks after the MENA region.

It gave her the opportunity to travel all over Europe and the UK and to visit 10+ language schools where she was attending classes. Nadia is passionate about traveling and learning languages, that’s why she loves this industry so much. Currently, she is learning Spanish and Bulgarian, and speaks English and Russian.

The UAE is home to over 200 nationalities, and through his work assisting students Gilberto has learned a lot about a wide variety of cultures in this diverse society.
He has developed a passion for travel and loves to expand his knowledge and immerse himself in new cultures.

In 2008, shortly after graduating from University, Dorian taught children at a public school for four months in China. He earned his CELTA in 2010, and in 2011 he spent almost two years teaching young learners English in Kumamoto, Kyushu, Japan. He continued working in the ELT sector after moving back to the UK, but put more of an emphasis on business operations. He really loves meeting so many unique people from all around the world and discovering new cultures!

Originally from Ecuador, Sammy came to Dubai at the beginning of 2022 to study English in a foreign country. She initially started as an intern assisting the Dubai staff and students with their concerns and wellbeing. As a Spanish speaker she has been able to assist a lot of students, of course, many of those being from Latin America. Sammy found it fascinating to learn about other cultures and languages through meeting a diverse variety of people, which has allowed her to gain a richer perspective on the world and that has certainly complemented her skills in her role. She enjoys spending her free time visiting the lovely beaches in Dubai, trying different cuisines, dancing and knitting.

Hi I’m Makoto Hashimoto from Saitama, Japan. I like to play football, I’m pretty keen on cooking and I often go to the beach with my friends to hang out. I decided to come to EP Dubai because I think it’s a good place to meet new people from all over the world and also because I knew I could improve my English here. Moreover, I like to join in with the social programme activities, especially the Desert Safari because you can experience Dubai on another level. I can definitely recommend English Path Dubai to you because I have had so many amazing and unforgettable experiences here. Now that I am part of the EP Team, I am more than glad to help you and all of the students that are joining us.
