Fjoralba Miraka

Fjoralba is the Student Services Officer at English Path Leeds. She was born in Albania and raised in Greece; she has lived in the UK since 2015. She holds a BA in English Language and Philology, an MA in American Literature and Studies, and was a PhD candidate at Roehampton University, London, where she conducted extensive research in Film Studies and published parts of her research through Bloomsbury Academic, Wiley Online Library, and MAI. She was also a film critic for online journals in her home country. She has experience in teaching English as a second language and enjoys putting that knowledge into practice in the activities she prepares for the students of English Path. She is a proud mother of two, and when she escapes the beautiful chaos of motherhood, she enjoys reading, watching films, and writing.
